Workshops by Marianne Torrence

Our prosperity weekend with Reynaldo at Asilomar was beautiful, insightful, inspired and with Mr. Robles' final process, transforming.  We look forward to those of you who tried, but couldn't make it to joining along for another opportunity with Mr. Robles sometime.

So for me, just 24 hours later, I get a phone call from National Educator, Marianne Torrence, who'd been traveling the country for thousands of miles, and was expressing to me her very strong interest to see what we're doing over here in Monterey County.  In short order, this 40-year veteran of teaching mastery in life skills was here at the center. And after 3+ hours of brainstorming and tech talk later, we're now receiving two (of many!) Marianne's personal and directly taught Life Courses in a super-learning, interactive environment this coming weekend!!  You can't miss this one...

Sorry for the late notice, but we have to make this happen fast, since she can't stay in town and I'm leaving town next week.  So to make this easiest for all of us, these all-day workshops will be FREE!   [Donations will not be turned away however...]

So just show up, having a good night's sleep, good food, and no alcohol or drugs, and be willing to perhaps show up in a video frame or two.  This is the place to be this weekend where you can enjoy gaining great skills that you'll walk away with for life, which will boost all that you strive for.

9:30 Start - The Communication Game!
Until 6:00 pm (Breaks will be throughout)

A free, fun way to learn what violates the laws of good communication and how to "do it better".
Presented in two stages, this is a workshop that provides tools that can be used in the workplace and in life.

  • You will learn what violates the flow of communication and suppresses productive interaction.

  • You will experience your own communication weaknesses and begin to correct them.

  • You will learn a game that you can play with others to help develop good communication habits on an on-going basis.... and more....

PURPOSES OF THE COMMUNICATION GAME

There are many reasons to play the game - these are some of the benefits:

  • To improve the art of listening to others and to become more aware of what you yourself are saying as well as its effect on others.

  • To encourage all participants to contribute to the conversation, making the discussion more than the unrelated expression of individual viewpoints. This makes the product of a conversation synergistic - more than just the sum of the individual parts.

  • To increase your respect for other's viewpoints, even if they conflict with yours. This means allowing the other person to be who he or she is.

  • To create more harmony in day-to-day interaction by completing communications fully.

  • To raise your ability to focus your attention.

  • To increase clarity in communication.

  • To become aware of which violations you do the most and to practice a more harmonious way to communicate.

  • To increase efficiency by reducing time wasted as a result of misunderstandings, and incomplete or inadequate communication.

  • To have less stressful conversations that achieve more in less time.

  • To keep the ego in check. The ego equals that part of you that always needs to be right, better than others, make others less important or wrong, have the last word, know everything about a subject, and feels that what it has to say is more important than what others have to say.

  • To learn to accept someone's communication as what it is, and as it is rather than interfering with it or trying to change it.

  • To learn to respond  to  others  communications  less automatically, more consciously.

  • To allow all participants to realize the importance of their contributions to any conversation.

  • To improve relationships and promote harmony among people interacting with each other.

  • To have fun!

9:30 Start - Attitude Transformation Workshop
Until 6:00 pm (Breaks will be throughout the day)

A one day workshop where you learn simple exercises to detect and remove negative or counter-productive attitudes.

  • You will practice detecting attitudes in others.

  • Your powers of observation will improve.

  • You will get feedback from others on attitudes they detect in you and an opportunity to change them.

  • You will learn a powerful exercise that can remove previously unchangeable attitudes.

This powerful workshop will develop your awareness of personal attitudes that may slow your progress in life.......

Can you recall encountering a person with a subtle or noticeable negative attitude?
Did this attitude interfere with your relationship with them?

Maybe you've noticed that people's attitudes can cause major conflicts and upsets with devastating results on their lives and those around them.  Did you know this can easily be avoided by becoming more aware of attitudes you are projecting, having the tools to change them to the positive, and applying them?

The Attitude Transformation Workshop is a simple method to not only blow away negative attitudes during the workshop, but to learn to deal with them subsequently when you find them in your life.  What this means to you is much more freedom and fun in your relationships with others.

Benefits from this workshop can be spectacular!  Unwanted mannerisms can also be conquered with the easy technique which you learn in the workshop.  Many people report feeling emotionally released from unpleasant feelings that have weighed them down in the past.

In this workshop you will:

  • Considerably raise your perception of what people are feeling and thinking.

  • Become free from attitudes that negatively influence how people see you.

  • Develop your native intuition.

  • Become more yourself.

  • Become more aware of what you yourself are projecting to others, perhaps unknowingly.
